I am planning my last workshop of the year (Celebrate, Appreciate & Bless your Biz) which includes a segment about celebrating our milestones, big and small!
Milestones are those places along the way where we have accomplished a goal or overcome a challenge that we have been working at.
Maybe you can relate to this; I am happy that I have achieved what I wanted but I don’t set aside time to honor what I was able to complete. I am on to the next “thing”. Or I focus a lot on what I need to fix or improve and neglect my wins.
And if I am always on to the next thing, I’m not allowing my success to really sink in, to feel proud of my achievement, or to learn from my success. (oh ya, we don’t just learn from our mistakes)
By looking back at the last year and recognizing what has gone well along the way, I am setting myself up to make better decisions about what goals and actions I want to put into motion next year.
Looking back over the last year teaches me:
Now it’s your turn to think about this past year. What were your milestone moments? Pull out your journal, start making notes and be sure to celebrate those successes!
Join me on Quadra Island on December 3/17 for "Celebrate, Appreciate and Bless your Biz" at the beautiful Perrywinkle Cottage.
I appreciate your support; thanks for reading and commenting!
