Problems and worries...we all encounter them in our lives and work. We often approach problems by running through past solutions that have worked for us in the past; and when those don't work, we get frustrated or feel stuck. We get stuck in our heads which is draining and detracts from our ability to allow creative solutions to emerge.
If you're looking for a new approach to solving problems start from a different angle:
You can move from the place of "I must solve this problem now" to
"What hidden solutions and opportunities can I find within this problem?" or even "What is good about this problem?"
A stance of open inquiry helps lighten the energy and create more spaciousness in which to consider different solutions. Inquiry invites your whole self into the conversation. You become more resourceful and creative in finding answers.
Before rushing into problem solving mode using only your cognitive abilities, first become present through a simple breathing or grounding practice and then:
Taking this slightly different approach to finding solutions opens the pathway to the wisdom that we carry in our minds, hearts, emotions and bodies.
